Items you will need: - Several different colors of liquid paint (child safe)
- Newspaper
- White paper (printer paper works also)
- Marbles or Golf Balls (depending on ages of children)
- Cardboard container with edges ( the ones that hold veges in)
- A rag to wipe hands on
- Containers to put paint in
- Glitter (optional)
- Spoons (optional ~ to take marbles out of paint containers)
This is a very simple craft for the kids that will have them asking to do more. - Lay out newspaper to protect the surface
- Put paint in containers
- Place marbles or golf balls in containers(one per color)
- Put a piece of paper in cardboard box (if doing with many kids ~ put names on back side)
- Take a spoon or fingers and take out one, two, or more marbles or golf balls to put into cardboard box. Move/shake the box back and forth to make the marbles go around the box.
- Take the marbles or golf balls out and put back into paint if you need more color to your paper. Keep adding until "done".
- Take out the marbles or golf balls and put back into paint containers.
- Wipe hands and put in a new piece of paper.
This project is so easy to put together. You can actually use anytype of ball as long as it is safe for your child's age (choking hazard if put in mouth). Mix up the size of balls that you use and see the excitement of the children. Once these are dry, you can cut them up into different designs. For fall, we used fall colors and cut them into leaves. For Christmas, various colors for ornaments on a tree. For Valentines, red and pink to cut into hearts, etc. |
