Ball canning jar metal ring   (new or can be found at garage sales for pennies)

green 1/2" to 1" pompoms

red yarn

glue

gift tag

Let's start!

Lay the canning jar metal ring flat.  Glue green pompoms in a circle on the metal ring.  Let dry.

Add a red yarn bow at the top.

Add another loop of red yarn at the top, to use as a hanger.

Make your own gifttag with your name, date, and age.

Other options include adding small red beads, little snowflakes, glitter as additional decoration.

When you give this Holly-Day Hugs Ornament as a gift, be sure to give a hug too.
