What you Need: Pen or marker Christmas cookie cutters Construction paper Scissors Hole punch or tape Dental floss or embroidery thread Dinner-size paper plate (or file folder cut into a circle) What to Do: 1. Trace around the cookie cutters on the paper and cut out the shapes. 2. If you like, have your child decorate the shapes with glitter pens or paint pens. 3. Punch a hole at the top of each shape to attach a floss or thread loop to each shape. 4. Beginning at one edge of the paper plate, cut along a spiral path, cutting around until you reach the center of the plate. 5. Punch a hole in the center. 6. Loop floss or thread through the hole. 7. Punch as many holes as you have shapes at different places in the spiral, then tie a shape to each hole. 8. Hang the mobile from the ceiling.
