Friday, 30 November 2007

What you Need:

Multicolored or red, green, and white construction paper
Scissors
Glue or tape

What to Do:
1. Count how many days there are until Christmas.
2. Cut enough paper chain rectangles, 2 by 6 inches, to represent each day.
3. Draw a picture of each idea on each rectangle.
4. Glue or tape the ends of each rectangle together to form a circle. (Like a bracelet) Make sure the picture is on the inside of the chain link.

5. Insert another rectangle through the first circle, and glue or tape it shut.
6. Repeat until they have completed the chain using all their rectangles.
7. Hang them on their tree or on a doorknob or mantel.
8. Break off one chain link each day

9. When the last chain is broken, it will be Christmas!
